Basic Philosophy
Daido Die & Mold Steel Solutions Co., Ltd. considers addressing diversifying environmental issues to be a vital part of its management strategy.
It conducts environmentally friendly business activities and contributes to sustainable development by providing products and services that are compatible with local and global environments.
Action Guidelines
- We will endeavor to continuously improve and improve our environmental conservation activities by setting and periodically reviewing our environmental targets
- We will comply with environmental laws and regulations, regional agreements, and other social requirements.
- We will promote energy conservation, resource conservation, recycling, and waste reduction in all areas of our business activities, and strive to continuously improve our environmental performance.
- Environmental policies are disseminated to all employees through environmental education and publicized through publicity activities inside and outside the company.
Activities
Legal Compliance
Industrial waste is managed by a system that controls progress to final disposal and various documents, and regular patrols of the yard are conducted to confirm proper storage conditions.
In addition to the Waste Disposal and Public Cleansing Law, we have established a system to specify the applicable laws and regulations at each plant and to ensure compliance with the requirements.
Promotion of energy conservation
We are replacing our plants and inventory centers with high-efficiency LED lamps and replacing old air conditioners with GHP type air conditioners.
Renewable energy power generation promotion levy
In order to obtain approval for the special measures for the levy based on the Renewable Energy Special Measures Law, we have submitted an energy conservation investment plan to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and are implementing it.

Changed the heat source of the evaporating tank at the Osaka Heat Treatment Plant from LPG to electric power (heater)

Promoting resource conservation and waste reduction
We are promoting the conversion of waste into valuable resources and working to conserve resources through recycling.
Implementation of emergency response training
Each plant conducts regular drills to respond quickly and efficiently to anticipated emergency situations.
Management Indicators
Supporting the environmental conservation activities of
Lake Kutcharo in Hokkaido.
Lake Kutcharo, a rich natural environment that extends to the northernmost part of Japan at 45 degrees north latitude, is also designated as a reserve under the Ramsar Convention as a rare wetland where migratory birds fly. In order to conserve this wonderful natural environment and contribute to a sustainable society, we are working with local NPO to conserve nature as foster parents of Lake Kutcharo forests.
